I'd suggest using a Bhp penalty rather than 2 different tyres. Less hassle for the drivers. Everyone is equal for the first round, then after that, 1st in championship runs -10% Bhp and 2nd and 3rd place have a -5% Bhp penalty. It works well, did it many times years ago on WorldLeagueRacing and XPLR.

Need to get this going too

We did that at VTCC, it worked very well.

TURN - TOURING CAR - FM6

Ok guys with the addition of proper btcc cars in fm6 look for some close racing in these things. I have a few thing that i would like to discuss before i get the builds on here. Please any replies would help determine the best quality of racing. In the past at TORA TCC its been a basic 3 rounds per meeting. 1st race based on qually times, 2nd race based finishing order of race 1, and race 3 full field reversal based on finishing order or race 2. Now, at TURN i want it to be different. I would like to have some sort of ballast set up which would probably be a power handicap. Ive done 10% for championship leader and 5% for second and third in standings, while this was to keep it close at times 10% seemed a bit much. So with that ill do some questions and if you can answer them with full honesty.
1) Season length: Is 10 week season too long, or should it stay 8 weeks with one dropped round.
2) Handicap/Ballast: I want to do qually times with a handicap based on championship order then do a handicap in each race based on top 3 finishing position in each lobby.
3) Handicap size: Is 10% too much for championship leader and race winner. Should it just be 5% for all.
4) Option Tires: In the past ive done this and its been fun but used drag tires and it was way too dramatic. But with these cars its either race tires or drags. Ill do testing and see how it reacts and if its still dramatic. when ran before it was nearly 3 seconds off the pace.
5) Weather: Should it be announced before racing commences, or completely random?
