Happy testing :)

You should take off the Flywheel, all it does is loosen up the car!

Please could you or someone apart of the team for this series please assign an era for us DEV Team to create. Don't want any overlapping of car builds, waste of time.

You mean, everyone get assigned a section?

That's easy enough. Let's start this way- I'll take FWD, Shane can start on AWD, you can take Top Speed RWD, and Tso can take on Grip RWD.

My time is limited but I'll do what I can, just please bear in mind I'll do my best, but haven't done balancing before really, especially on this scale

@Shane, just do what you can. These cars don't have to be "balanced" in the traditional sense. Close enough works fine.

Koenigsegg balanced all these cars for VM, but truth be told, he only tested about 1/2 the cars at the most. The rest he built to "similar" stats. Some he had to go back in and adjust the builds but it wasn't too often.

Basically, each car needs to have a few weak tracks or just be average. E.G., this is why the Alfa 33 is being left out, it was an OP car.

Wouldn't it be best to assign like X to 1940 - 1960, Y to 1961 - 1980 et cetera...

As high speed RWD is a little vague.

Not initially, no.

I want people to test similar style cars, that way it's easier to swap from one car to the next. Once this initial round of testing is complete, I will be mixing and matching the cars so they're balanced that way (this is where years could become the sorting item)

High speed RWD is somewhat vague but not really if you think about it. You can kind of group cars like the newer Vette, Viper, 00 Mustang, as cars that will be rather quick on the top end and somewhat grippy, but not generally known for their acceleration. These cars should all be about the same speed.

My problem is that if I start overlapping builds with someone else, that is just gonna pee me off. Less efficient.
Also Top End, doesn't apply to earlier model cars. Cars from the 40's and 50's are/can be as fast, thus why I said it was vague as I don't know where to start.

You're not going to... Did you not see the Google doc I embedded on the first page?

The cars are set into groups. They don't repeat, so there won't be any overlap.

RR- Start with the group I assigned you, go down the list and match up the cars to each other. The cars in each group *in theory* should match up with each other fairly well. If you find that a couple cars don't line up, we can move them around.
