From the Stewarding Team: There are TWO additions to the Driver's Code for the initial series on Forza Motorsport 6, one pertains to headlights and night racing, the other pertains to a known exploit in the game.

For the headlight rule: During a night race if a driver damages BOTH headlights they shall be required to park their car and be classified as Did Not Finish for the safety of their fellow competitors due to insufficient track lighting. Not being able to be seen by competitors is a massive safety hazard and TURN will not permit this to happen.

For the damage exploit: If any driver is found to have configured their personal damage set to OFF during any TURN Official Race they will face a un-reversible Race Disqualification. If found more than once it will be a Series Disqualification. TURN does not condone cheating in any fashion and such actions will result in an eventual Site Ban.

Race Series: V8 Supercars
Race number: Round 1 - Race 2
Lobby: 1A
Track: COTA-West
Driver: VOR Amarth

Offense: 1.7.1) Causing Contact

Description: Amarh is observed to have dive-bombed competitor XPR Forbidden, causing contact, then the following corner causes unnecessary contact via the rear bumper.

Video Evidence:

Contacts in the Inquiry occur at 1 hour 52 min 30 seconds into stream.

Stewards Decision:

While it is common practice to attempt to out-brake an opponent into a corner, to do so in such a fashion is not what the Staff and Stewards will condone in sanctioned racing at TURN. To go with this the Stewarding Team felt that the additional contact at the following corner was unnecessary, even by "Lap 1" standards. In the future please exercise some caution for when a car may brake earlier than you.

Tier-1 Penalty: 4-place Grid Penalty and 4-point driver's points deduction, 3-race probation

Stewards Decision: It is the responsibility of the passing driver to execute a clean pass, regardless of the situation or time of race. Failure to do so will result in warnings or penalties.

TIER-1 Penalty: 4 driver points, 4-place grid penalty, 3-race probation.

Race Series: V8 Supercars Series 1
Round/Race number: Round 3 Race 2
Lobby: B
Track: Hockenheim International
Driver: N6R Crazy

Offense: 1.7) Causing contact, Unsafe Driving

Description: Lap 18 - On approach to the hairpin N6R Crazy is closing in on Galeforce97 as Galeforce takes an inside line, as this is happening Crazy tries to take an even further inside line, putting 2 wheels on the grass, then contacts Galeforce and runs wide of the hairpin. Coming out of the hairpin AnonCaliga manages to get alongside Galeforce due to the contact with Crazy. At the end of the straight Crazy dives to the inside of AnonCaliga and tries to move Galeforce to the left, spinning himself on AnonCaliga's car.

Video Evidence:

Incident under review occurs at 49:40 through 50:10 in video.

Stewards Decision: Tier-2 Penalty: 8-point deduction, 8-place grid penalty, 6-race probation

It is the attacking driver's responsibility to execute a clean pass no matter the situation. This driver failed to do so by forcing the car in to a place where it never should have been both times in this incident and the Stewarding Team is penalizing N6R Crazy for his actions.

Race Series: V8 Supercars Series 1
Round Number: 7
Race Number:
Lobby: 1/A
Track: Daytona - Sports Car Course
Driver: LRT Breeze & TPR Zermatt

Offense: 1.7) creating contact, 1.2) cutting corners

Description: During Lap 24 toward the end of the race LRT Breeze tries to make a pass on the inside of Turn 2, going off-course to get alongside TPR Zermatt. Then on the exit of Turn 3, Zermatt crosses over and forces both himself and Breeze off-course due to contact. Breeze is observed to have crossed the white line on the exit of Turn 3, however it was not detailed in the race thread if this was not an illegal runoff area or not. Following this Breeze is seen to have made multiple light contacts with Zermatt as the drivers battled for the lead, enabling the third-place driver to close in.

Video Evidence: Twitch.tv on the @turnmedia channel, found from 53:40 to 54:45

Stewards Decision: All of the incidents detailed in the Steward's Inquiries submitted by both TPR Zermatt and LRT Breeze taken separately would have been classified as Racing Incidents. However, even though it was the final laps of a race in a close championship battle does not mean that the league rules detailed in the TURN Code of Conduct should be disregarded and forgotten. The Stewarding Team wishes to see close racing between competitors with respect shown to each other.

At this time both TPR Zermatt and LRT Breeze are being issued a warning for their conduct in Round 7, Race 2 of the TURN V8 Supercars Series 1 Championship.

Race Series: TURN V8 Supercars
Round Number: 9
Race Number: 1 & 2
Lobby: 1/A
Track: Watkins Glen International
Driver: N6R Crazy

Offense:
1.4: Dangerous Circuit Re-Entry
1.7.2 & 1.7.4: Creating Contact

Description: Race 1 - N6R Crazy shows no situational awareness with traffic nearby as he makes contact with LRT Breeze as Breeze is passing, which pushes Breeze into TPR Zermatt which costs Zermatt his race due to the damage inflicted.

Race 2 - While racing two other cars through Turns 2 and 3 (The Esses), Crazy loses control of his vehicle and rejoins the racing surface without checking to see if there is traffic nearby. As Crazy re-oriented his car he makes contact with TPR Zermatt, forcing Zermatt into a wall and rolling his car, thus crippling his race.

Video Evidence:

Race 1 - @35:15

Race 2 - @42:30 on N6R Crazy's stream

And - near @38:45 on Turn_Media's stream

Stewards Decision: The Stewarding Team has received numerous complaints about N6R Crazy at different points through the TURN V8 Supercars series, and this is not the first time Crazy has been penalized. In fact, N6R Crazy was still on the final week of his probation from the incident that took place at Hockenheim. Because of his actions at Watkins Glen the Stewarding Team is handing out a Tier-3 Penalty plus a one-race suspension , to be served at the final race at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst. The Stewarding Team understands that each incident is different due to circumstances, however continued negligent driving such as this will result in penalties being handed out as necessary.
