I know they do talk about/view other drivers however I can pick a few examples where they missed some good action, it was only a slight improvement I feel could be made, overall I think the coverage has been very good. I understand that they are also trying to read positions, times and stuff and don't have 3 pairs of hands so I know it must be difficult to follow all battles etc but there have been a couple of times where they missed some good overtakes/battles that are quite important in the overall scheme of things, my example of myself n Micko who are 1 n 2 in the privateers championship, 2 points separating us going into Daytona and there was 3 or 4 laps we were racing wheel to wheel, during this time the camera focused on one driver going round on his own.
I think another example at Daytona where there was a great battle brewing between RR and I can't remember if it was Diablo n Breeze or others but the camera followed the battle for 3 laps, Nick James then dropped it into the chicane tires and the camera switched to his car, standing still in the barriers for 3 - 4 minutes, during this time RR had finally managed the overtake n we missed it as we was watching a wrecked car in the barriers not moving. They then switched back to RR and the move that RR had been lining up for several laps had already been done. I was gutted as it was brewing nicely then just as it spiced up the camera switched to a car not moving in the barriers n by the time it went back to RR he was past.
As I said it's not meant to have a pop but constructive critisism, maybe after reading that they'll get a 3rd spectator to enter who's job it is to simply constantly scroll through the drivers to see where the battles are at that time to tell the main camera main to switch to them and battles like my examples above are followed to conclusion or not missed.
As I say tho, I know it's not an easy job and I think what they do is already a very good, for that I give them the upmost praise.
