Thanks freheliaz I'm not 100% where exactly but was after first pitstop (lap 15) and before second pitstop (lap 29) both issues happened at second chicane one instance was manual clutch ( black and green mcclaren ) blocking twice and the other instance was up urs primark (red Z4) going straight over the speed bumps on the second chicane in hindsight there no issues as u managed to jump ahead on pit strategy after second pitstop. ...I guess it's just there manor of driving that was frustrating but thanks for offering to look at the replay mate......cheers

Well done on your race final race position nick I just viewed the twitch broadcast. .....freheliaz there no need for the evidence as the two drivers mentioned I managed to leapfrog in the final pitstops so lodging an SI now would be pointless

I feel like if something is noticed by staff/stewards on the stream then why is an SI required? I mean, you seen it happen...

It's just how it was explained to me back when we were drawing up the rules. It's one of the things that could be changed for this year if they want to.

If the stream sees the pattern that we think warrants steward investigation, we notify the stewards, which we have in this instance. Not every cut or infraction is going to be automatically reported to them though. In this instance we saw a behavior we thought was excessive and patterned. For things like contact, that's always up to the drivers as we have no idea whether they even want the matter pursued. To anyone that feels disadvantaged beyond a normal racing incident, we encourage them to notify the stewards and provide as much evidence and direction as possible.

The only reason this is coming up is because it happen to be focused around a battle. If the entire field was spread out this would probably go without another word. You can't ask stewards to view the race live because you could have 60+ drivers to watch in the big official series. That being said I do think that if something is spotted on stream or replays that the stewards should have the ability to review an incident without it having to be filed by a driver. But I'm glad that the commentary team saw it, and then notified the stewards to review it.

I am overly satisfied with this response. Thank you. I am glad you guys take the initiative and don't rely on an SI.

for instance, if the stewards could SI every bit of contact, then we'd be looking at cases where a team/club mate took another one out by accident. It would just look like we are punishing said team/club when it really isn't needed.

That's why for stuff like cutting the stream didn't see or collisions we rely on people to file SI's. It's why the email is in my sig, so people can easily find it and file. Even if its bogus or "clearly should be looked at regardless" we aren't scouring thru all the replays upwards of 20x over an hour...its insane. Thats a day's worth of manhours to process before we even get to starting a ruling. As much as I'd like to see everything get SI'd so I can lay down some sweet justice, it's just not feasible. That's why we need people to SI if they feel like they need to. Even if it's a no ruling.
