If its to help people who have missed a race i would makr it so you can request a drop round for yourself if you need to miss one. Either way i lost more points than some. I still should be rewarded for doing 5 races, or what was the point in turning up at Catalunya for example. So i screwed myself by doing every race and not understanding the drop round. I'll remember to miss a race next time. That way i should be better off.
I would encourage you to embrace this rule. I didn't have to turn up for Monza but keep in mind there are no dropped rounds for teams championship. Also keep in mind you may have a lagout and someone may absolutely wipe you out on turn 1 at Spa and then you've to claw your way back up the field and then all of a sudden you now have a worse finish than Catalunya. The rule is there to protect the competitor against things beyond their control, ie: emergency at home, power cuts, lag outs, crashes and so forth. The list goes on.
I've been on FM since day one. This rule has been in place in all events. I've never not come across it. Expect to see this all the time.

I doubt flat out unless it has about half downforce. My vette requires about half to do it flat, but thats really hard to get and its pushing track limits

So pole, what are we expecting? A high 19?
