FORUM COMMUNITY RULES AND GUIDELINES

Firstly welcome to TURN The Ultimate Racing Network community forums. Please take the time to read these rules and guidelines prior to taking part in any discussions on our site as these will be enforced site wide. While we invite you to give feedback and discuss topics openly we hope that common sense plays a factor here as what may not offend you may indeed offend someone else.

SPAMMING and TROLLING

Please do not spam the forums with irrelevant topics and external links this can result in restricted access or even a forum ban. Trolling, while it can often be easy to make fun of a mistake someone has made we at TURN don’t see it this way. So is the same as spamming, should you feel the need to troll someone or troll a topic your access can be restricted or even revoked.

SELF PROMOTIONS

We at TURN are all for self promotion but please keep all relevant links in one confined section, i.e. your personal site blog or your teams forum section. Links to your social media accounts can also be used in these sections or on relevant topics in the forum pending your links relevancy to the initial topic. Your profile is also yours to promote your media links, please use them wisely.

TURN YES LIST

Please post replies and new threads in the relevant sections provided within the forum if you are unsure on where to post please feel free to message one of the staff who will be more than happy in assisting you. Interaction at TURN is a great way to find new friends and even the possibility of joining teams so having a positive attitude and participating on the site and on track is a great way to character build. Respect your fellow members and staff, this is a global community and you are expected to treat others in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

Before posting new threads please do a quick search to see if that topic or one of a similar nature has already been posted as duplicate threads will possibly be locked with a link to the original thread. Please stay on topic, if you are unsure we have a off topic section for all of your randomness but please be warned that while it states “off topic” if you get to carried away we may be forced to close such topics or staff will have to step in to get things back on topic.

TURN DON’T LIST

Spamming and trolling as pointed out earlier can result in restrictions and even a site ban. Personal attacks including racism or sexist comments will not be tolerated. If you are on the receiving end of such incidents please contact staff with all relevant details. Posting links to harmful or pirate websites will not be tolerated such links will be removed and you shall receive a forum warning should you continue to post such links your forum status may be restricted or banned. Pornography, racism, violence, sexism ,religion and politics are all very sensitive subjects and as such we would appreciate all of these topics to be avoided.
Links to either another race organizing site, or links to a support site for a series where drivers are required to use the satellite site to participate in the series are strictly against the spirit of building and promoting the growth of the TURN community.

NEW IDEAS

If you have a new idea please share it in the forum. It will be full of helpful and creative people that will no doubt be more than happy to share ideas and assist should it be required, you never know your idea could be the next big thing at TURN. Creativity will help you and us as a community grow as a collective.

TURN FEEDBACK

We value all feedback from the community no matter how big or small, providing such feedback complies with our rules and guidelines. If you have feedback please feel free to post such ideas in the feedback thread on the forum or if you are unsure you can directly contact a site staff member.

OFFICIAL TURN THREADS

On a regular basis the TURN staff will create official threads detailing important information or just updates on all things related to TURN. You as a community will have the option to reply to these threads but please keep replies and questions on topic so the staff can respond promptly.

WARNINGS AND FORUM BANS

If you are on the receiving end of a warning also known as a temporary ban your access will be restricted this will result in you not having the ability to post new or reply to any topics on the forum until a staff member feels it is safe to un restrict you, no specific time frame is in effect. If you are banned from the forums you will have no access and your IP address will be blocked.
