VTCS - Rules and Regulations

This series will be a duel series. There will be a EU Time based racing on Tuesdays at 8 PM GMT, and a NA Time based series racing on Wednesdays at 5 PM PST. You will be able to compete in both if you want to. Please state which series you are racing for in entry thread.


DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP

This will be a championship fought by each driver for themselves. The total amount of points at the end of the series will determine the drivers champion.

TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP

A team will be made up of up to three drivers, all driving the same car. This championship will be scored by the total points scored by the top two drivers for each race meeting, over the course of the championship.

PRIVATEER CHAMPIONSHIP

A privateer is a registered solo driver who will compete for the drivers championship and a privateer championship.

- Team Driver Changes
For the length of the entire series from Round 1 until the Final no team driver changes will be allowed.

- Substitute Drivers
For the length of the entire series from Round 1 until the Final no substitute drivers will be allowed.

- Dropped Round
For the length of the entire series you may drop one round or enter all and have your lowest scoring round dropped. Also to clarify that while there is a dropped round for each driver we will not drop scores for teams championship.

- Race Meeting
We ask that all competitors are on Xbox Live 15 minutes prior to the start of the race meeting, make sure their NAT settings are setup correct, and appearing online to everyone. Any competitor who does not follow these runs a very high risk of not receiving an invite, or being able to compete.

Each competitor must also post "IN" in the relevant race meeting thread on the TURN forums, until ONE hour before the race meeting at the very latest. Anyone who doesn't post “IN” in this time frame will not compete.

Race

Races will begin with one parade lap to set the grid based on qualifying times.

- Drivers will line up approximately 20-25 feet behind car in front in a staggered position.
- Pole sitter will call out a time to go on.

Race Settings

- Collisions during all races will be and set to simulation damage. ABS, TCS and STM will be forced off, Clutch will be forced on and other settings will be allowed.

- The meeting will be 3 rounds each and last about 15-20 mins each.
- Race 1 will be based on qualifying positions.
- Race 2 will be based on finishing order of Race 1.
- Race 3 will be a random draw by reversing the top 5-10, based on finishing order of race 2.

Championship Ballast

- After race 1 there will be a championship ballast.
- 1st Place in overall championship will receive a 10% power handicap during the next meeting.
- 2nd and 3rd Place in overall championship will receive a 5% power handicap during the next meeting.
- If the driver that has a power handicap drops outside the top 3 after the round, the power handicap will be taken off for the next meeting.


Mandatory Pit Stops

The VTCS will have no Mandatory pit stops.

Liveries

-Nothing offensive
-No Direct tobacco sponsorship's
-Mandatory vinyls for TURN numberplate in correct location. ( Under the side mirror on door )
-TURN Number used

Team Paints must have same paint scheme on all cars. They can vary by different color side mirrors, wheels or wings.

Mandatory Vinyls

-Sides of cars must include your TURN Race Number in the mandatory numberplate that can be found on xKingCobra28's Sharefront. It must also have the TURN logo underneath in bluish green box sized at 0.05. This logo can be found on LER VisionThing Sharefront. Fonts of numbers can vary but must be legible.

-Car bonnet/hood must include your TURN number on the top left corner when looking from above. This number does not have to be in mandatory numberplate. Fonts of number can vary but must be legible.

-Front and rear bumpers must include the "TheUltimateRacingNetwork.com" website address on them. The rear bumper must also include your TURN Number in a legible font.
