I have question.
In both races my engine almost died. Close to the end each race it was damaged for 40%. So, i don't have enough speed as a result. At the end of straigt it was about 180Km/h. Usual it's about 200 km/h.
Who can gimme a hint with this issue?

Did you take damage by hitting the wall anywhere? Or hit back of another car perhaps?
I'd have said maybe over-revving the gears, but think that shows as damage as transmission rather than engine.

No, i didn't take any damage by hitting the wall or someone. It was happened lap by lap from 0% to 40%.
I thought thats happened because i tune gearbox for hi rev, because most time it works at red zone border.

Its likely you're changing down gear too rapidly, damaging your gearbox in the process.

Yes, I have both replays, I'll share them asap

Totally unrelated to Clio Cup, but i think they've changed the sensitivity of the engine damage due to downshifting with the last patch. I could be full of crap, but I just started having this problem and it severely affected my race last night in TURN Masters Americas as well. I haven't had a problem at the previous 2 races and I typically am quite aggressive with my downshifting. I'll have to change my driving habits so that I'm not tearing up the engine, but I never used to have these problems, driving the exact same way.

Yea devil is right. You have to be careful with the downshifts on sim damage. Try not to downshift to early and make sure when you downshift the next gear isnt hitting the rev limiter. Evry time it does you will get around 4% engine damage i think

Just thought id remind everyone of the time currently. The clocks went back an hour for the UK last Sunday. We're currently at 6:12pm. The race will be at 8pm GMT. 1hr 45minutes from now.

Hope that avoids any confusion ;)

So, it's looking like 1:10's will be the target this week.

Only 3 rounds left and it's VERY close in the standings. Keep it up guys :)
