CHAMPIONSHIPS

This series will support a Drivers, Teams, and Privateers Championships. Each team will be composed of 2-3 drivers, however, only the top 2 scoring drivers from each team will accumulate points for the team.

There will be one drop round

LIVERY

Each car will be required to run the TURN URL on the sides and front of the car and have your official TURN Number on the sides and front as well. No number boxes are required. Tobacco based liveries are permitted, bearing they have motorsport relevance and no actual sponsorship or partnerships are taking place.

QUALIFYING

Qualifying will take place on the day of the race prior to the race starting. All drivers will receive an invite from their respective Room Host approximately 30 minutes before qualifying begins. Qualifying will begin promptly at 2:00 PM EST. Any drivers suffering from connection issues will be given until 2:10 PM EST to make it into the qualifying lobby. Qualifying will be in a super pole format, where drivers get one warm up lap and two flying laps.

RACE

The race will begin immediately after qualifying with drivers receiving an invite from their respective Room Host. Drivers suffering from connection issues will be given until 2:30 PM EST to make it into the race lobby.

The races will begin with a Formation Lap before a rolling start for Lap 2, which will be controlled by the Pole Sitter. The Pole Sitter will call out GO GO GO for the race to start. The racing grid will be organized with the odd placed drivers starting on the racing line and the even placed drivers starting off of the racing line.

There are 4 mandatory stops for everyone in each race, unless otherwise specified (unlikely).

The races for this series will be time based and not lap based. This is to prevent the Group C cars from finishing and their drivatars potentially ruining a GT driver's race. You cannot finish higher than someone in a lobby above you or lower than someone in a lobby below you, you are only racing those in your lobby.

RESTARTS

Restarts will take place if the following has happened:
  • The lobby was set up wrong
  • A driver lags out before the first lap is completed
  • There is a collision involving at least 3 drivers before the first lap is completed
  • There is a large lag related incident before the first lap is completed

POINTS

Image
In addition to these points, the driver that qualifies on pole will receive 10 bonus points, and every positioned gained from your starting position will reward you with 1 bonus point.

LAGOUTS AND QUITS

If you do not finish a race for some reason, you will be classified as a retirement and your finishing position will be determined by the 75% rule: If you retire before 75% race completion, you will receive last place points with the lap you retired on determining your finishing position among other drivers of a similar situation. If you retire after 75% race completion, you will receive last place points for your lobby.
