CHAMPIONSHIPS

Teams are only supported within this event. Teams are formed by no less than three and no more than six drivers.

LIVERY

All participants are required to have the mandatory graphics on their car for this series. To learn more about this and how to receive them check the Livery thread

QUALIFYING

Qualifying rooms will open 15 mins prior to the specified time where all drivers will then receive an invite from their ROOM HOST. Qualifying will take place under a 5 second roll off delay , where you will have 20 minutes to set your time, the fastest will then contribute to form the grid. When 20 minutes has passed, complete the lap, pull over, stop and wait for the host to give instructions. Any drivers that lag out or leave the session will have their best time used as displayed by the results screen. However, if a qualifying lap wasn't completed a new qualifying session will be started.
Please take note if the host is disconnected please record your time and others with a visual image.

RACE

The race room will open 30 mins prior to stint 1 ,All drivers will receive an invite from a selected room host. If you do not receive an invite within 30 minutes, please get in contact with a Clerk of Course via Party Chat and he will resolve the matter.

The race will begin with a Pace Lap for the rolling start for Lap 2, and will be controlled by the Pole Sitter , The Pole Sitter will give specific time when to go by calling out GO GO GO this can be repeated by other drivers if required to start the race. The racing grid will be organized with the odd placed drivers on the inside in relation to Turn 1, and the even placed drivers on the outside.

Each stint following stint 1 will start with a forming of the grid following results from the stint before these stints will not complete a full parade lap the Pole Sitter will have instruction to GO at the final turn of the Nurburgring GP circuit.

All stints will be set for a drive time of 2 hours but your drive time will be 1 hour 40 minutes after this time all cars must stop and remain stationary while the host records all drivers race distances.
once distance is recorded you are free to leave the room or wait for the timer to finish.

RESTARTS

A restart will only take place if the following happens:
- The lobby has been setup wrong
- Drivers lag out within their first lap. In the event that 1 player only lags out, he will then start at the back of the grid. If more than one driver lags out, the race will restart as the original qualifying results
- Racing collision involving 3 or more cars within the first lap
- Large lag related crash within the first lap

POINTS

TBA

For points, we wanted to take a nice broad point range that could keep 3 full lobbies in the hunt for earning standings relevant points. Beyond the 3rd lobby (Lobby D and below), the points are repeated for each lobby. The thought is that past 60th place, drivers are focusing on consistency, networking, and experience racing. While 1st place in Lobby G would be worth the same as 1st place in Lobby D, the goals are the same, since they are not directly competing for notable standing in the driver or team championship. Participation and consistency count for a lot in organized racing, and that's exactly what we hope this point structure will do. For 1st through 60th placements, there's a limited distribution that follows a point distribution similar to FIA, but is much more broad (60 places rather than 10), and awards the winner 100 points rather than 25.

PRIZES

TBA

LAGOUTS AND QUITS

If you do not finish a race for some reason, you will be classified as a retirement and your finishing position will be determined by the 75% rule, if you retire before 75% race completion, you will receive last placed points overall with the lap you retired on determining your position among other drivers of a similar situation. However, if you retire after 75% race completion, you will receive last placed points for your lobby.

CONNECTION ISSUES

If you cannot connect to your race room, you will still be awarded race points, but you will be given last place points. If others cannot connect, the order will be determined by driver standing in the season.

CLERK OF COURSE

If you have any questions regarding any aspect of the series, get in contact with the Clerk of Course. He/They are available and will be able to answer your question. PM them on the forum or send them a message on XBL.

FINAL SUGGESTIONS

TURN events are catered for fun, clean, competitive racing and all skill levels are welcomed to participate but all we ask is that you are committed to the event. This means, if you sign up an event, you should complete it. If you are not committed, then TURN isn't for you. Please remember that communication is vital when participating. Even with cosmetic damage, chances cannot be taken that will risk other drivers. No one's race should ever be ruined by someone else's mistake.

This series is run in accordance to both these series rules and the 2015 Code of Conduct, with any punishable offences relating to on and off track behaviour being brought before the Racing Stewards and the Penalty Rules, so please read through them and understand what is expected of you.
