Welcome to XtremeGT, a multiclass GT endurance series loosely based on the Japanese SuperGT Championship. The GTX Class is a spec class encompassing the GT500 Nissan GTR. The GT class are based on the current rules from the SuperGT GT300 field, which sports 3 different build types: FIA GT3, JAF GT300 and the “Mother Chassis” GT300 cars. To emulate this, the GT are either GT3 cars and GT4/Super Trofeo cars upgraded to GT3, RWD Touring Hatchbacks (JAF GT300) and Mid-Engine touring cars (Mother Chassis).
This season of XtremeGT will be a short, 4 round championship, run on Saturday’s at 2pm EST, each comprising of a 15min qualifying session and a 1hr 45min race.
Qualifying: Qualifying rooms will open 15 mins prior to the specified time where all drivers will then receive an invite from their ROOM HOST. Qualifying will take place under a 5 second roll off delay, where you will have 15 minutes to set your time, the fastest will then contribute to form the grid. When 15 minutes has passed, complete the lap, pull over, stop and wait for the host to give instructions. Any drivers that lag out or leave the session will have their best time used as displayed by the results screen. However, if a qualifying lap wasn't completed a new qualifying session will be started. Please take note if the host is disconnected please record your time and others with a visual image.
Race: The race room will open 30 mins prior to starting. All drivers will receive an invite from a selected room host. If you do not receive an invite within 30 minutes, please get in contact with a Clerk of Course via Party Chat and he will resolve the matter.
GT Traffic must adhere to the racing line when being passed by the GTX cars. The onus is on the GTX drivers to make safe passes. It is strongly advised to call out interclass passing, but because the chats don't quite work 100% there will undoubtedly be a point where oral communication can't happen. Therefore it is also imperative that GT traffic make sure they check their mirrors and/or minimap to know they are getting passed by GTX traffic.
Race STARTS: The race will begin with a Pace Lap for the rolling start for Lap 2, and will be controlled by the Pole Sitter in each class. Both classes will start 2x2. The Pole Sitter in GT (lower class) will back off the rest of the field giving an approximately 1000ft gap from the back of the GTX Field. The Pole Sitter in the GTX class will give specific time when to go by calling out GO GO GO this can be repeated by other drivers if required to start the race, whereby the GTX field commencing racing. While this is happening the GT class Pole Sitter must keep pace lap speed until they nearly reach the start/finish time, where then the GT Pole Sitter will give specific time when to go by calling out GO GO GO this can be repeated by other drivers if required to start the race, whereby the GT class can start racing.
Race END CONDITIONS: The end race condition will be a sprint to complete all laps. The race will be set to 2hrs but will only run until the 1hr 45min marker. When the leader of GTX takes the white flag (lap that takes place during the 1:45:00 mark) the GTX leader will call out the last lap. When the GTX winner takes the checkard flag, all drivers in both classes behind the leader will have their races end (Drivers ahead of the winner will complete their lap). Once drivers have all crossed the line, they will then stop at the next straight IN FINISHING ORDER so the host can tally the results.
RESTARTS
A restart will only take place if the following happens: - The lobby has been setup wrong - Drivers lag out within their first lap. In the event that 1 player only lags out, he will then start at the back of the grid. If more than one driver lags out, the race will restart as the original qualifying results - Racing collision involving 3 or more cars within the first lap - Large lag related crash within the first lap MANDATORY PIT STOPS: There ARE NO MANDATORY PIT STOPS. This is done deliberately so drivers have to plan out their pit stops to get the max distance during the race. PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR CAR IN GT CAREFULLY. This rule will not change.
LAGOUTS AND QUITS
If you do not finish a race for some reason, you will be classified as a retirement and your finishing position will be determined by the 75% rule, if you retire before 75% race completion, you will receive last placed points overall with the lap you retired on determining your position among other drivers of a similar situation. However, if you retire after 75% race completion, you will receive last placed points for your lobby.
CONNECTION ISSUES
If you cannot connect to your race room, you will still be awarded race points, but you will be given last place points. If others cannot connect, the order will be determined by driver standing in the season.
CLERK OF COURSE
If you have any questions regarding any aspect of the series, get in contact with the Clerk of Course. He/They are available and will be able to answer your question. PM them on the forum or send them a message on XBL.
FINAL SUGGESTIONS
TURN events are catered for fun, clean, competitive racing and all skill levels are welcomed to participate but all we ask is that you are committed to the event. This means, if you sign up an event, you should complete it. If you are not committed, then TURN isn't for you. Please remember that communication is vital when participating. Even with cosmetic damage, chances cannot be taken that will risk other drivers. No one's race should ever be ruined by someone else's mistake.

I've read the rules and this point is not described but I think it will happen. Overtaking someone from the other class. Do you need to stay on your racing line and should the faster car find a way around you. Or should you move to a side to let the faster car pass? I know it will solve itself most of the times with people leaving a gap for the faster car to go pass them but still when you're on a straight it's nice to know how to handle according to the rules. As chat won't always be working.
