CHAMPIONSHIPS

Drivers, Privateers and Teams are supported within this event. Teams are formed by no less than two and no more than three drivers. The two top scoring drivers will count towards your teams points. Drivers that are in a team must drive the same car. There will be one dropped round for the lowest scored round in the Drivers and Privateers Championships. However, the Teams Championship will have no dropped rounds.

LIVERY

All participants are required to have the mandatory graphics on their car for this series. Drivers that are signed up in a team must run the same livery with minor differences. Differences can include a different highlight color, side mirror color or rim color. To learn more about this and how to receive them, please visit the LIVERY REQUIREMENTS thread.

QUALIFYING

Qualifying rooms will open at 7:45pm EST and GMT where all drivers will then receive an invite from their room host. Qualifying will take place at 8:00pm EST and GMT, qualifying will consist of 7 laps, 1 out lap, 5 hot laps and 1 cool down, the fastest will then contribute to form the grid. When the 5 hot laps are completed, on Lap 7 pull over, stop and wait for the host to give instructions. Any drivers that lag out or leave the session will have their best time used as displayed by the results screen.

RACE

Race rooms will open once Qualifying is completed and the times are collected and ordered. Please be patient as this process can take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete, but once finalized, all drivers will receive an invite from a selected room host. If you do not receive an invite within 20 minutes, please get in contact with the Series Administrator via Party Chat and he will resolve the situation.

The races will begin with a formation lap where all competitors will adjust their positions and get into the correct order, and then line up on the grid for a standing start using the grid markings provided (some tracks however do not have grid markings, in which case cars will form a simulated grid, leaving 25 feet of space to the car in front and to the side). The race host will then call out a time using the RACE TIMER (top right of the HUD) for everyone to go on, ensuring they leave at least a 15 second gap for drivers to prepare for the start of the race.

Below is of how the races will run throughout the series.

Qualifying - 7 Laps (1 out lap, 5 hot laps, 1 cool down)
Race 1- Standing start race with 1 formation lap to set grid in qualifying order.
Race 2- Standing Start race with 1 formation lap to set grid based off finishing order of race 1.
Race 3- Standing start race with 1 formation lap to set grid based of a random number 5 through 10 reversal of the finishing order of race 2. (i.e. if the random number is 8, the top 8 will be reversed, with 8th going to start on pole and 1st starting 8th, 9th through the rest of the field will stay in the order they finished).

RESTARTS

A restart will only take place if the following happens:
- The lobby has been setup wrong
- Drivers lag out within their first lap. In the event that 1 player only lags out, he will then start at the back of the grid. If more than one driver lags out, the race will restart as the original qualifying results
- Racing collision involving 3 or more cars within the first racing lap
- Large lag related crash within the first lap

However, if you retire after 75% race completion, you will receive last placed points for your lobby.

FINAL SUGGESTIONS

TURN events are catered for fun, clean, competitive racing and all skill levels are welcomed to participate but all we ask is that you are committed to the event. This means, if you sign up an event, you should complete it. If you are not committed, then TURN isn't for you. Please remember that communication is vital when participating. Even with cosmetic damage, chances cannot be taken that will risk other drivers. No one's race should ever be ruined by someone else's mistake.

This series is run in accordance to both these series rules and the 2016 Code of Conduct, with any punishable offences relating to on and off track behaviour being brought before the Racing Stewards and the Penalty Rules, so please read through them and understand what is expected of you.

Quick question, are substitutes permitted for this series?
