CHAMPIONSHIPS

Drivers, Privateers and Teams are supported within this event. Teams are formed by no less than two and no more than three drivers. The two top scoring drivers will count towards your teams points.

All team members must be announced at sign up. You are unable to add a driver to your team once qualifying for Race 1 has started.

LIVERY

All participants are required to have the mandatory graphics on their car for this series. To learn more about this and how to receive them, CLICK HERE.

QUALIFYING

Qualifying rooms will open at 11:45pm EST / 4:45pm BST where all drivers will then receive an invite from their ROOM HOST. Qualifying will take place at 12:00pm EST / 5:00pm BST, where you will have 15 minutes to set your time, the fastest will then contribute to form the grid. Any drivers that lag out or leave the session will have their best time used as displayed by the results screen. However, if a qualifying lap wasn't completed a new qualifying session will be started.

RACE

The race rooms will open at 12:45pm EST / 5:45pm BST once qualifying is completed and the times are collected and ordered . All drivers will receive an invite from a selected room host. If you do not receive an invite within 30 minutes, please get in contact with a Clerk of Course via Party Chat and he will resolve the situation.

Each race will begin with a Pace Lap for the standing gridded start for Lap 2, and will be controlled by the Pole Sitter with the race clock. The Pole Sitter will give specific time within the race clock to start the race. The racing grid will be organized with the odd placed drivers on the racing line in relation to Turn 1, and the even placed drivers on the other side. If there are no grid boxes, first place will pick a starting place on the correct side of the track. Drivers will use 20 foot (6 meter) spacing from the driver ahead.

For the Non Championship race they will begin with a Pace Lap for the rolling gridded start on Lap 2, and will be controlled by the Pole Sitter, but should not exceed 80 mph in the final sector. He will also control the start of the race. The Pole Sitter will wait for the back of the grid to exit the final corner and hear "CLEAR" from the drivers at the back. At this point, the pole sitter can go at any time between the "clear" and the first turn without vocalization. As soon as drivers see distance to 1st rapidly increasing, the race is on for ALL drivers. The racing grid will be organized with the odd placed drivers on the racing line in relation to Turn 1, and the even placed drivers on the other side. While starting the race, please be cautious by leaving room between rows.

RESTARTS/RE GRIDS

A restart or re grid will only take place if the following happens:
- The lobby has been setup wrong, Restart
- Drivers lag out within their first flying lap. In the event that 1 player only lags out, he will then start at the back of the grid. If more than one driver lags out, the race will restart as the original qualifying results, Restart
- Racing collision involving 3 or more cars within the 50% of the race, Re Grid
- Large lag related crash within the first lap, Re Grid

Re Grids are a Forza version of a restart where by those who are unaffected will take a lap to slow down and re form a starting grid much like that of a formation lap. Those who are damaged and have to pit during the re formation will start from the end of pit lane. While it doesn't allow for those affected to be staright back in the action it does allow them to catch back up and give them another chance. There will only be two re grids allowed per race weekend and they can only occur within the first 50% of the race.

However, if you retire after 75% race completion, you will receive last placed points for your lobby.

CONNECTION ISSUES

If you cannot connect to your race room, you will still be awarded race points, but you will be given last place points. If others cannot connect, the order will be determined by driver standing in the season.

FINAL SUGGESTIONS

TURN events are catered for fun, clean, competitive racing and all skill levels are welcomed to participate but all we ask is that you are committed to the event. This means, if you sign up an event, you should complete it. If you are not committed, then TURN isn't for you. Please remember that communication is vital when participating. Even with cosmetic damage, chances cannot be taken that will risk other drivers. No one's race should ever be ruined by someone else's mistake.

This series is run in accordance to both these series rules and the 2016 Code of Conduct, with any punishable offences relating to on and off track behaviour being brought before the Racing Stewards and the Penalty Rules, so please read through them and understand what is expected of you.
