We've been rather busy behind the scenes.

We have added 4 drivers in the past week! F4H Rosso and F4H Ascari have come back to the team after temporary sabbaticals. And we have two new members to discuss! F4H Dixon (I DIXON I) and F4H Stingray (xKingCobra28) are two of the very best drivers in the XB1 racing community and I'm glad they will be racing under the F4H flag.

Welcome (and welcome back) to the team!

A bit late, but we at F4H would like to welcome F4H Nightmare (xNightmare84) to the team!

And with that, future recruiting will be done by invitation only.

I've noticed this, I think the picture is no longer being hosted. I'll look into it.

TURN VEC CHAMPIONSHIP 2016

ROUND 1 – SEBRING 12 HOURS
RACE REPORT

So, TheUltimateRacingNetwork (TURN) VEC officially started this past weekend, kicking off with the 12 hours of Sebring using LMP1/LMP2 and GTLM cars. We at F4H entered 5 teams; F4H Red Sonja (P1-Porsche), F4H G-Drive (P1-Porsche), F4H Racing (P2-Mazda), F4H Motorsports (GT-Porsche) and F4H Black Sheep (GT-Ferrari). Here’s a few words about how it all unfolded for F4H.

F4H Red Sonja

Our flagship team certainly delivered as expected. Congratulations to Red Sonja for taking the overall win in P1. Zach, Tyler and Micko, you made a great effort guys, absolutely brilliant. It was smooth sailing for Zach in stint 1 with him building a big lead early on for his team. Micko kept the momentum going in stint 2 and Tyler had to use a better pit strategy to shake off HCR Motorhead in stint 3. After that, it was about them keeping their nose clean and bringing it home in 1st place. Well done guys. Silverstone is yours for the taking.

F4H G-Drive

What a great effort from a team that was out of its comfort zone with only a few hours to the race. Chad was out of his comfort zone in P1. For a GT driver, he did exceptional and was very quickly up to speed. Chris M’s dedication is second to none as always as he didn’t think twice about switching teams from Red Sonja to G-Drive to help out. Unfortunately, Martin & Chad lagged out of Stint 4 & 5. With 2nd locked in at the time and the team bringing home 4th, it is not too bad at all for the rotten luck you had. Well done and see if you can push for that podium spot at Silverstone.

F4H Racing

At the start; Deano ran the first stint ending with nearly 4,000ft between himself and 1st place. Rob was next up, but there’d been a change to the lobby grid, and Rob found himself on the end of some aggressive driving from one of the guys that had moved up. Under pressure, Rob ended up with lots of damage after meeting ‘the curb’ near tower. But in true F4H spirit, he kept it going. In stint 3, Ryan had a nearly uneventful run and almost finished with a 1000ft lead if it wasn’t for a little spin on the grass. Deano’s stint 5; coming into T17, he turned in just a fraction too early, hitting the wall and spinning across the track. He managed to crawl back to the pits and despite this mishap, his perseverance and positivity meant he was able to help the team achieve 4th out of 5 in class, but the potential for a stint win was there. Stint 6 was a little tougher for Ryan who struggled to pass Vague Being and used the pit stops to undercut him for position. In the end it was a hard fought 2nd in P2 class. It was unfortunate not to win but well done guys. I can see a win at Silverstone on the horizon.

F4H Motorsports

This team lit up the racing from the start. Eggy and HCR Solar having bumper to bumper, door to door racing that in my opinion was the highlight of the race, Eggy’s 2nd stint was plain sailing to the line with no one to challenge him for 2nd place. Chris B was very unlucky, with his 1st stint being tricky after tweaking the tune and struggling with oversteer. After getting to grips with the car, his old age got the better of him and his fingers went numb making it hard to drive. Chris’ 2nd stint was going better and he was picking his pace up only for the lag gods to show their ugly faces as he lagged out of his 2nd stint. Andy’s 1st stint was uneventful with BAM Box being too quick and the others being too slow, he found himself isolated in 2nd place but comfortable. His 2nd stint had a few hairy moments with LMP1 & 2 but nothing too bad. He made a move on HCR Akihiro at the end of lap 1 and executed the move perfectly to gain the position. He gave chase to Amarth but fatigue set in and he struggled to push anymore. With 2nd place overall being achieved, it is a great result when considering the competition. Congratulations guys and well done. Hope to see you push for the win at Silverstone.

F4H Black Sheep

Jason opened the race for F4H Black sheep as stint 2 was all about Kyle. He had a fun 1st stint until things were swapped around. This team got screwed. They managed to qualify into the top lobby only to be moved down for the remaining 5 stints. To their credit, they carried on. Jason dominated the 2nd stint in B lobby and won by 3000Ft. Stint 3 was won by Kyle. While Gashi lost a little ground in stint 4. Kyle was on the tail of 1st place for stint 5 with Brian bringing it home in 2nd place in lobby for F4H Black Sheep to finish 5th in Class. Great effort guys and I’d love to see you push for the podium places at Silverstone.
