I feel overall it was run well, couple of things here and there like the starting order kept switching back and forth between overall mileage and the previous stint finishing order.

As for the fuel comments, relating to GT, I don't understand the complaints. The stops were enforced after the GT Championship concluded as it showed flaws. It was done to allow all cars to be chosen. The reasoning behind it was because, unlike real life and more sim oriented racing games, the fuel saving you can do on Forza makes minimal difference unless you start dropping massive amounts of lap time, which is not an option.

And to those who refute this just ask Chrisupra about it as he has carried out EXTENSIVE testing.

I echo my teammate's statements, generally a well run event! I think is was... Stint 4 maybe that was like an hour behind, and had to be shortened, so that wasn't as good. The live timing was updating almost immediately after every stint, so well done there. The lack of streaming wasn't as good- perhaps we need more American streamers to fill the gap between the Brits going to bed and waking up? I dunno. Anyways, all in all, a well done event. Roll on Nurburgring!

I think that's what makes the car stand out more. And you can easily do a test to find out which car is the best on fuel for your driving. Seeing the LMP1s making 7 stops is also on the high side. I think if you can make it with 1 stop less than other people you should be rewarded for it.

I appreciate your comments however, we ran a series before this event (GT3 Series) were the entire field agreed that a set number of pits per class was the way to go. If you allow complete freedom of pits, you then have to balance the cars for pace depending on the length of pits and hope they all enter the last ten minutes on an even keel. That quite simply is not going to happen on Forza. The fuel system is flawed and I worked with T10 extensively when the game was brought out to find out what effects fuel and who can benefit. I won't get into the ins and outs because it was a mouthful but trust that the rules are the way they are because it was the best option. We would all love a little more strategy but even thinking about the balancing required, per track and per event nearly makes me have a stroke.

The major contribution to this is driving style. We had the exact same car, the same tune, the same assists, etc. and some people could go a lot further than others. I had faster drivers going further than others and then I had slow and fast drivers going the exact same distance. You quite simply cannot put that into any equation so the only way to put everyone on the same level was a set number of pits. Unfortunately, it is just the way it is.

I remember being a lot more efficient in the Rebellion than my team mates over on other sites but wasn't sure of the variables that made it so.

In both classes, we had cases where certain cars were a lot better or worse on a fuel run and would obviously be OP or shite. So we covered it the best way possible as Chris said.
