My Driver of the Day:

well maybe a bit Bias but HCR Akihrio had a cracking stint kept us above F4H in the 1st stint, only for me to get taken out in both 2nd and 3rd stint and lose what we had. but it happens

battling wise: well F4H Ascari me and him were battling for the like 10-15 minutes of stint 2 after i gained everything i lost to him in my Accident, brilliant racing touche, and also LRT Lamb Chop in Stint 3 we had some good battling and we had issues with alot of LMP2 and LMP1 just parking on Apex's when were in midst of battle but good battle all round , Good Going, and i hope for the best for the people in the GT Class .

Stint 2 in P2 was INTENSE! Don't think we had a streamer, but it was the class to watch as Drift, Nitro and I were dicing it up lap after lap.

Big thanks to moesavy for the tune, we had a fast car and that helped me work my way through the GT field after an incident in the first lap. Thanks to the GT field for being courteous once again, there were some crazy moments (3 wide at the top of Eau Rouge was one) but we got through it and it made for a great race. Had a few chances to go for the win, but Nitro and Drift both never made an opportunity easy and I thought it best to live another day.

Thanks again for the great event and I look forward to Le Mans!

Moments of the day : everyone involved you are all awesome.

Let's get the ball rolling after Le Mans:

1. Who impressed you the most; be it a team, individual or even yourself!

HCR Rogue team, considering the final game plan was done at basically the last second and they had to overcome difficulties, Xbox issues (the norm ) and all that. To get a podium is fantastic for them.

2. Anyone in your team that needs a special mention because of something they did?

Cerberus again. The lad doesn't sleep and stepped in for Hamish as he had internet issues overnight.

3. What did you enjoy the most out of this racing experience?

Actually having pace. I thought we would have been destroyed because I couldn't find pace or consistency or comfort in the car. The other teams didn't say a word about their hands so I had no idea where I stood, no target to aim for. We had pace to capitalise on others' misfortunes which is how we ended up winning.

4. Was there a moment or stint that really stood out to you?

Well, the crashes, lost ground and incidents that I feared might bite us at the end but thankfully they didn't.

5. Any special mention to a paint that impressed you the most?

Cerberus made a brilliant one for us. Also the livery AB made for Team Fuchsrohre. It's a shame LRT didn't show because theirs was also amazing.

6. Anything else?

Glad to see the back of Le Mans, the track has issues. I celebrated the victory by eating a kebab and playing a bit of Destiny and Minecraft.

1. Who impressed you the most; be it a team, individual or even yourself!

Shout out to Jawshe, i think he's a new face around here and to win an LMP1 stint is quite impressive.

2. Anyone in your team that needs a special mention because of something they did?

I think iheartracing deserves a mention in our team, first time he has raced for us in the VEC and kept our lead through the night with some very solid stints.

3. What did you enjoy the most out of this racing experience?

I just enjoy the team aspect of it, coming together and all chipping in.

4. Was there a moment or stint that really stood out to you?

Yes definitely, i had an action packed stint 5.......
The Ford GT was extremely strong at Le Mans and after making a mistake they ended up taking the lead early on. I managed to catch it back up a few laps later but unfortunately jack hit the twinkies going onto the long straight, I was right behind him and collected him giving me 100% front end damage. This allowed F4H Eclipse to take quite a big lead with me and the Ford playing catch up. I eventually was able to catch up to F4H Eclipse but then something strange happened.... I was along side him approaching turn 1 but had to back out as i was on the outside and just lightly tapped his rear quarter, to my amazement it gave me 100% front end damage and had to do another whole lap. At this point i was pretty mad and knew i had to go into beast mode if i was to stop myself undoing some of the work my team had done in previous stints. With about 25 mins to go, to my surprise, i found myself battling for the lead once again, but then F4H Eclipse caught the sticky stuff coming out of the Porsche curves and i couldn't avoid him. Amazingly i don't think he got any damage as he carried on, luckily for me being at the end of the lap, i managed to get into the pits. Being my 4th stop i could then try to go to the end, and i was able to do enough to retake the lead when Eclipse came in for his final stop......crazy race for me.

5. Any special mention to a paint that impressed you the most?

I love our viper paint done by AB, infact everytime i race with it, i love it more and more

6. Anything else?

The series could do with spicing up a bit in my opinion, entice new people to join the series somehow by offering a separate championship, i wildcard championship or something and open the sign ups for new comers for a couple of weeks. Just a thought because things are getting worse participation wise. The cars could be tweaked to by adding the Ford and Huracan to GT (if they can be balanced) and offering a free car change to people already signed up. We are approaching half way through the series and feel it would be a good opportunity to give it the life it deserves.

I was impressed with everyone's professionalism, on and off the track!

2. Anyone in your team that needs a special mention because of something they did?
F4H Nitro won one of his stints, so big props to him. He held his own throughout the race!

3. What did you enjoy the most out of this racing experience?
Racing with everybody! The fun of multi class racing always gets me. I really enjoyed the respect that each car gave to each other, especially passing cars of a different class. I think towards the end I passed some GT cars through the Porsche curves and probably made them poo themselves, but it all worked out in the end

4. Was there a moment or stint that really stood out to you?
The rain stint was... Objectively terrifying lol. A lot of people had issues with it, with Motorhead and Diablo absolutely raging in the in game chat. It was certainly interesting to pass/be passed in the wet, as there was really only one line through most corners, and even on some straights.

5. Any special mention to a paint that impressed you the most?
HCR's LMP1 team looked amazing. Even with 2 different numbers on it

6. Anything else?
Can't wait for Nurburgring!

A huge shoutout to F4H Diablo who not only covered for me in stint 2 since i was feeling ill, but doing pretty much the impossible. Best drive of the whole race and the reason we can say we have now won 3 races this season. A bit sad to say my stint streak came to an end due to a controller glitch but i do believe Amarth still carries an undefeated record if I'm not mistaken. Let's see how far he can take it!

I didn't know if the car could essentially 3 stop, but I forced myself into that situation. What made it wonderful was Chris telling me that according to our data, I wasn't going to make it on fuel. By my math, I was about 3.5 minutes shy. So, I had to run save fuel all race, short shifting even more than usual. Then, I had to risk it at the next to last stop, stayed out an additional lap and ran dry as I entered the pitlane. At the end, I realized that I was going to be extremely close on fuel... And I ran out of fuel with 1 second left in the stint. I've had close calls in racing but that was too close.

Team effort for sure, Zach. You've covered my ass in stints before, just me returning the favor. 4 rounds remain, glad we're getting some stronger tracks for you and me!
