Anyone have this? Does it work for downloading games to? I thought that was a feature only available to internal memory, not external. Please help! I need a bigger hardrive but I am cheap!

Any External hard drive that is USB 3.0 will work Gashi, so yes, that one will work.

You could also get a 7200rpm one which will make your load times a good chunk quicker, but they are a little more expensive.

I thought originally only internal drives allowed game installs. That is why I thought this Seagate would be a cheaper alternative to buying a new xbox or official hardrive.

Yep, requirements are just USB 3.0 and 256GB minimum capacity.

Also the hard drive will be formatted for Xbox use only if you get one.

I've been looking at it too, because I think I've only got a 500mb or so.

I have one of them Gashi, Great bit of kit if you run out of space on the Xbox hard drive! can get like 50-100 games on it haha
