It would be nice to see, but I doubt it. Last I heard they were 20 seconds off the pace on the test weekend, but you never know.. Maybe next year, when I'm there!
For LMP2 my money is on the #34 Oak Racing car. Laurens Vanthoor and Kevin Estre are both bloody good drivers!
I think Porsche has a very strong chance of beating the Audi machine this year. As long as they can sort out the reliability problems, I think the ball is theirs to drop.
I agree. Reliability will be key. Audi's low downforce setup improved their straight line speed at Spa but I'm not sure it's enough. That Porsche is just crazy fast!
After qualifying last night it cleared a few things up yes Porsche are super fast but will reliability be a issue again ? Personally I think all 3 will suffer issues and lose time in the garage. Toyota I'm unsure about granted they were off pace throughout Q1 but I think they will adjust and make the podium after 24 hours. Nissan ummm well they can have fun racing with the LMP2 cars unless they get a fix fast but either way they are no threat I see all 3 cars retiring or crashing. Audi while they are not the fastest this won't phase them it's not the first time so I see a strategy battle coming from them no doubt tripple stunting drivers and tyres to gain pit advantage plus the extra lap I believe they have over Porsche.
